Carol was born on April 4th, 1963, in St. Catherine Jamaica to the late Eugenie Wheatle and Burchell Duhaney. She migrated to Orlando, Florida in 1997 where she resided until her passing.
She was married on December 10th, 2000, to Archibald King and their union produced two children, Rhondine and Romano King.
Carol was a devoted mother and wife, faithful Christian, loving sister, and an exemplary employee. She was a hard worker and took great pride in everything she did.
Her passion was her two children and her Seventh Day Adventist faith.
In her spare time, Carol enjoyed cooking, summers at the beach (she was an avid sea shell collector), crocheting, shopping, traveling, and reading (Danielle Steele Novels).
She was fond of animals, especially her “grand-cats”, “Bling”, “Blue”, “Calleigh” and “Moosh” King.
Carol is survived by her husband, Archibald King; daughter Rhondine King; son Romano King; sisters Olive Duhaney- Williams, Andrea Francis, Alina Duhaney, Andrea Duhaney; brother Mark Duhaney; nieces Samantha Thomas, Ayana Duhaney – Baylor; nephews Ricardo Schloss, Adrian Marriot, Christopher Watson; favorite cousin Fitzroy “P-son” Brown; brother-in-law Dermoth Williams; God-daughter Kayla Clifton; numerous other relatives, adored friends, and work colleagues.
She also leaves behind her Bog Walk Seventh Day Adventist and North Orlando Seventh Day Adventist church communities where she was an active member.
Viewing for Carol will be held on Thursday October 27th, 2022, at Woodlawn Funeral Home (400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd., Gotha, Florida 34734) from 5pm – 9pm.
Funeral services will be held on October 30th, 2022, at the North Orlando Seventh Day Adventist Church (4125 North Hiawassee Road, Orlando FL 32818) starting with a 10AM viewing; services starting promptly at 11AM with the interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Floral tributes can be brought to Woodlawn Memorial Park on Saturday October 29th or the North Orlando Seventh Day Adventist Church on Sunday October 30th.
