Surrounded by his loving family and friends in his final moments, he was a man of immense humor, wisdom and amazing anecdotes of his life in Havana, Cuba, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. He was as proud of becoming a U.S. Citizen as he was of his birth place and beautiful island of Cuba. His journey in his career would take him to every inch of the United States and the open road was his playground. He had many passions in life but none compared to the joy he found on the open seas.
He was married to his devoted wife Ana A. Biascoechea. He was survived by his children, Eric, David, Frankie, and Barbara. His grandchildren, Sasha, Sage, Liana, Jaden, Nikolis, Erica, Zoe, Santiago, Alexa, Christian, Mateo and Reese. His great grandchildren, Easton, Izaiah, Annalise, Wilionel and Angelisse. His brother and sister, Francisco Perez and Emma Diaz.
A visitation for Carlos will be held Monday, June 17, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. A funeral service will occur Monday, June 17, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. A committal service will occur Monday, June 17, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734.
