Brenda "Arlene" Blevins

Born on December 9, 1956, in Sidney, Ohio, Arlene Blevins was the daughter of the late Arthur Jerry and Viredia (Martin) Smith. She graduated from Sidney High School in 1975, and relocated to Central Florida in the early 1980s. In 1983, Arlene married Harvey Edward Blevins in Winter Garden, Florida. Together they have two sons, and two grandsons.

In 1983, she began her career as an In-House Marketing Executive at Vistana Resort. She was a highly awarded employee consistently exceeding sales goals. After earning her real estate license, she continued to excel as a Real Estate Sales Executive at Westgate Resort, earning the David Siegel million-dollar ring award.

Arlene is survived by her husband of 41 years, Harvey Blevins, and sons Sean (Nicole) Blevins and Travis (Katie) Blevins; two grandsons, Donivan and Noah Blevins; two sisters, Belinda Smith of Ohio, and Ranita Smith (Buck) Winburn of Kentucky, and one brother Arthur Reese (Loretta) Smith of Tennessee; two brothers-in-law Gary (Janna) Blevins of Florida, and David (Beth) Blevins of Florida, and sister-in-law Patti (Tom) Hagen of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother-in-law Danny (Vickie) Blevins of Florida.

Services will be held Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home (400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734) officiated by Rev. Thomas “Tommy” Parlier from West Oaks Church of God. The viewing begins at 2:00 P.M. followed by the service at 3:00 P.M. concluding with the graveside service at 4:00 P.M.
