Bonnie Jean (Schneider), 64, of Orlando, beloved wife of Bruce Hahn, died on Sunday, July 25, 2021. She was born in Shiloh, IL on July 30, 1956 to Althea (Maue) and the late Lloyd Schneider. She attended Althoff High School in Belleville, IL, Class of 1974 and went on to graduate from Western Illinois University with a Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
Bonnie was a caring and loving person. Her smile and personality made her easy to talk to. She touched everyone she met and will be missed by all who knew her. Her hugs were legendary. She now shares in an eternal embrace with Jesus.
Bonnie is survived by Bruce Hahn, her devoted husband of 39 years; her daughter Anna Kerrigan and husband, Patrick; her mother, Althea Schneider; her sisters: Debby Willis and husband, Dan and Terri Terhaar and husband, Mark; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and her cherished friends from Orlando, Western Illinois University and the “Shiloh Girls” with whom she held life-long bonds. In addition to her father, Bonnie was predeceased by her son, Christopher Hahn.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, July 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for visitation and a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 123 E Livingston St., Orlando.
