Betty Lou Caldwell, 87, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on April 18, 2018. Betty was born on June 22, 1930 in Lancaster, South Carolina, to the late Mrs. Dallas Knight nee; Usher and Mr. John Knight.
Betty absolutely loved spending time with family and being the most amazing daughter, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She would also love to cook for her family and spend time on the farm in her younger years. She would relax and watch some of her favorite shows, The Walton’s and the Little House on The Prairie; but she loved to be involved with her family and was exceeding inquisitive. Betty was also highly involved with her church and would attend services and bible study as much as possible.
Betty is predeceased by her loving husband, James T. Caldwell Sr. and her son, James T. Caldwell Jr . She is survived by her children, Donna Purtell of Orlando, Florida, Barbara Caldwell of Winter Garden, Florida, Jo Ann Fischer (Steve) of Woodstock, Georgia, Conan “CJ” Wilson of Orlando, Florida, and Betti Jean Wilson (Lathadius) of Orlando, Florida. Betty also leaves her grandchildren, Rhonda Wilson of Clinton, South Carolina, and James C. Caldwell of Clermont , Florida. Her great-grandchildren, Anysha Straight (Noah) of Union, South Carolina, and Nick Wilson of Clinton, South Carolina. Her four legged children will also miss her dearly, Pooh Bear, Midnight, Banjo, Sneaker and Ellie.
A visitation for Betty will take place on Tuesday, April, 23rd from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM with a service to begin at 11:00 AM and a committal to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home; 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida, 34734.
