Ben was one of a kind. Very early in life, everyone knew he had a special knack for brightening up the lives of everyone he met. His high energy, contagious smile, infectious laugh, and love of life impacted everyone he met. This held true and only magnified itself as he grew and matured. Ben trusted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age when his sister, Melanie, shared the gospel with him, and that faith and trust endured throughout his life. In addition to involvement in his church, and many other activities, he was always playing sports. He was captain of his Circle Christian High School basketball team, received academic and athletic scholarships to college, and was elected captain of the Southeastern University basketball team where he met his beautiful bride, Caitlin. After graduating from Southeastern in 2009 with a B.S. in Business Management, Ben moved into sales leadership positions in the fresh produce industry, where he last served as a Sales Management Executive for Lipman Family Farms in Dallas, TX. Ben touched hundreds and hundreds of lives, so evident by the tributes and honors that have been sent to his family.
Most importantly, Ben cherished and is survived by his wife of 6 years, Caitlin, and his 2 year old daughter, Kensington; his parents Larry and Bydelle Brown; sister Melanie Brown VanLue and brother-in-law Jason VanLue; brothers Micah, Joseph, Luke, and Jordan; parents-in-law Skip and Dolly Santo; brother-in-law Patrick Larson and sister-in-law Elizabeth Santo Larson; nieces and nephews Cade, Caroline, and Mollie VanLue, Austin Brown, and AJ and Micah Larson; aunts, uncles, cousins, and a countless number of friends.
