Barbara T. Dreyer

Barbara Jean Taylor Dreyer, 79, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2013 with her loving family by her side. Born November 6, 1933 in Orlando, Florida to Albert and Julia Rode. She had one brother, Albert Rode, Jr. Preceded in death by her husband, Isaiah Taylor and infant son Michael. Survived by son Mitchell Lynn Taylor of Virginia Beach, Virginia, daughter Sharon Elizabeth Taylor of Winter Garden, Florida and daughter Julia Denese Coker of Montverde, Florida. She also had four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Barbara made lifelong friends in the many years she worked as a waitress at Chastain’s Resturant in Orlando. She enjoyed traveling to Virginia and Georgia to visit with dear friends and relatives, making the occasional stop in Tennessee at one of her favorite places, Dollywood. She will be remembered as a caring mother, grandmother and friend who loved to cook but even more so, loved to watch others enjoy her food. A visitation will be held on Saturday April 20, 2013 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm with a service to follow at 2:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road Gotha, Florida 34734.
