Anna Ruth Goodson Owens, age 74, of Apopka, Florida passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024. She was born in Ocoee, Florida on September 28, 1949 and graduated from Ocoee, High School. She married Herbert "Bo" Owens on November 11, 1982.
Anna Ruth had a career in Engineer Support Assistant at Progress Energy/Duke. She had a passion for horseback riding, animals and her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Bo, children, Tonya Owens Bilyeu and Heather Owens Polisei; grandchildren, Tyler Bilyeu, Sloane Polisei and Nora Polisei. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Nora Goodson, and brothers, Bruce and Lynn Goodson.
A visitation for Anna will be held Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. A funeral service will occur Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. A committal service will occur Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.
