You're missed by many and Loved by more.

I didn't know you except from watching WFTV and following your battle with breast cancer. My niece passed away from breast cancer on July 18, 2010, she was only 37, Michelle Carroll Brown. Now every July 18, I remember her and you for the fight and courage you both showed during this terrible disease.

Hi there,
I'm so very sorry for your loss.  I worked with Angela in Madison almost 25 years ago now! I had not been in touch with her since then but recently heard about her passing.

At the time we worked together I was just out of school and wanted to get into sports journalism. Angela spent a lot of time working with me and helped me get a foot in the door.  While my career ultimately took a different turn, I always remembered and appreciated her for her kindness in helping someone she really wasn't required to!

She was a great person and it made me very sad to hear about this. You have my sympathy.



With their last breath those we love do not say good-bye, for love is timeless.
Instead, they leave us a solemn promise that they are finally at rest with God, they will continue to be present to us whenever they are called upon.
Let us fear not, nor grieve beyond letting go the departure of those we have greatly loved, for in the Tree of Life their roots and ours are forever intertwined.

I worked with Angela at channel 3 in Madison what seems like a lifetime ago now. She was such a kind and caring person. She had a great sense of humor, I remember joking around with her all the time. We worked together on the weekends for a few years so we spent a lot of time together at work. That weekend crew was like a family. She was a lot of fun to be around and always smiling. I am so very sorry for your loss. Angela and all of you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

One of my dearest of friends  of 30 plus years , Angel was tougher than most  and compassionate to all who crossed her  path 
Thoughtful , kind hearted, and unapologetic about who she was and what was important 
In life ! Those are things I mostly remember and will always have to remember her by .

I worked with Angela for five years at channel 9 in Orlando. Our desks were right next to each other. I’m not sure I’ve ever met a kinder, sweeter person in my life. She never failed to brighten my day, and I’m better for having known her. My heart breaks knowing she’s gone far too soon, but I know she’s resting peacefully and smiling down on us from heaven!

One of my favorite memories while working at Tampa Bay's 10 was the time I spent working with Sherry and our dear Angela. I was always in complete awe of Angela. Smart, funny and boy oh boy was she a dominate force anchoring her sportscasts! She was also such a great friend - we'd talk for hours in the make up room after the shows.  While my heart aches losing Angela -- I take so much joy in knowing she is in Heaven. Sister your sweet spirit will live on. Rest in Peace until we meet again.  

Such a class act, what good times we had, always the most beautiful inside and out.

I was devastated to hear of Angela's passing. She fought so hard and I never thought for a moment that cancer would defeat her. She was so much fun to be with. A very witty and warm person, who was toughened up by years of being in the TV business. I will miss her and make a donation in her name to Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation. We were comrades in breast cancer, and I will carry on her "take no prisoners" spirit.  Rest with the angels Angela, for that is your beautiful name.

Angela and I had so many fun times working together at TampaBays 10. We always had something to laugh about! We instantly connected when we first met at the station  and later learned we were both South Carolina Gamecocks! A few years ago we discovered that we were also “pink” sisters fighting breast cancer. Even then, we still found things to laugh about. Angela’s heart always gave off light and love!  I’ll forever remember that NOT even cancer could steal her joy. Praise God! Ange, We’ll always be sisters! You will live in my heart where love never ends. Until we meet again sweet girl! I love you! Forever To Thee!

Angela Jacobs was such a beautiful person on so many levels.  I so enjoyed watching her on WFTV.  She will be so missed.  Her family will remain in my prayers.  

I will always remember Angela as the fierce, beautiful, and courageous woman I met years ago. The last time I saw her was in February of this year, when I learned of her recurrence. She said I will give it all I got and trust that it is all part of Gods plan. I was very fortunate to know her. She would want me to also mention to everyone who is a woman or loves a woman, Get screened, report any breast changes, and encourage others to do so! You were truly one of a kind and will be missed so much.  

We, the class of 1987, lost another BUBBLER.  Our hearts are saddened. Prayers for Angela's family and friends at this time of grief.  She will be missed dearly...

Summer 2021 Angela needed help editing a personal project with a program she was unfamiliar with. It was my first time meeting her after becoming engaged to her niece, Ally, so I was honored to have been able to spend a couple hours with Angela working on a project together. She was so kind and supportive and had such creative ideas. I’m proud to say the last thing I video edited was a project with Angela. Thank you Angela for attending our wedding in last Fall. We absolutely loved having you there and we will miss you so much ❤️
