She was born in Houston, Texas, on May 12th, 1975. She spent part of her childhood in Lilburn, Georgia, before coming to Orlando.
Amy graduated from Boone High School in 1993. She then pursued studies in psychology, obtaining both a Bachelor’s degree from Elon University in North Carolina and a Master’s degree from Curtin University in Perth, Australia.
For many years, she was a professional model and had the incredible opportunity to work and travel internationally. She later worked in digital communications and interior design. Most recently, she had been pursuing her certification as a Pilates instructor. But her proudest accomplishment by far was raising her two daughters.
Amy had a joyful spirit, a smile for everyone she met, and an encyclopedic knowledge of 80s movies as well as the TV show Friends. She had a passion for health and wellness, travel, cooking, fellowship with friends and family, and enjoying a cup of tea while watching the sunset.
She was preceded in death by father David Edward Lee III and birth mother Mary Ann Lee.
Amy is survived by: twin daughters Kaiya Maria Pineyro and Camila Michelle Pineyro; mother Kathryn Peterson; sisters Lisa Hendrickson (Michael) and Michelle Lee; brother David Edward Lee IV (Leeann); nieces Abigail Lee, Mia Hendrickson, Analisa Espino, Isabella Espino, Alexandra Espino, Liliana Espino and Lucia Pineyro; and nephews Michael Hendrickson, Matthew Hendrickson (Emily), River Pineyro and Chase Pineyro.
