Alma, my eldest cousin, was always a reference to me.  When she got married and moved to the USA, my mother ,her Aunt Estella, never lost contact. When I became an adult, already married, we used to visit frequently. I really admired her intelligence and stamina. We lost contact a few years back which was a real pity because she was a remarkable person... much ahead of her time!
