Ronald Andrew Bowein

Loving husband and father, Ronald Andrew Bowein, 62, of Goodyear passed away peacefully June 12, 2011.  He was born February 22, 1949 in Highland Park, Michigan. He had made a home with his family in Arizona since 1994.  He was a proud member of The Brotherhood of Dak To Defenders 299th Engineers. Thereupon he was a truck driver for Central Freight Lines, enjoying the open roads.  Ron, a devoted family man, treasured them to the greatest extent.

Ronald is survived by his wife LuAnn Bowein, his sons Charles and Edward, daughter Melanie, mother Doris Bowein and mother-in-law Joyce Wiley, sisters Charlotte Kiefer, Lynda Alvarez, and Paulla Walker, and family.

A private graveside service will be Friday, June 17, 2011 at 10am at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd in Phoenix, Arizona.

In lieu of flowers, memorial funds may be sent to Chase bank, account number 2997851015. The family wishes to thank Hospice of the Valley for the excellent care they received.
