Mrs. Rhiannon Hipp, 42, of Buckeye, Arizona died October 10, 2022 in Buckeye, Arizona. She was born June 1, 1980 in Phoenix, Arizona to Oscar Gonzalez and Marguerite Hayes. She is survived by her husband of two years, Matthew Hipp; mother and step-father Marguerite Hayes and Art Singleterry; father and step-mother Oscar Gonzalez and JoAnn Munoz; brother, Justin (Deana) Gonzalez; and sisters, Aimee (AJ) Young and Salina Gonzalez.
Rhiannon was raised in Gila Bend, where she was very close with her siblings and cousins. She attended Gila Bend elementary school and graduated from Gila Bend high school. After high school, she went on to work at the Barry M Goldwater range as a range control technician for over 10 years. It was her favorite job. She also worked for Hickman family farms for several years. After dating for 12 years, she married Matt in February of 2020.
Rhiannon was quiet and shy, but could also be the life of the party. She enjoyed being silly and pranking her sister, Aimee. Her entire life, she enjoyed caring for and riding her horses. If she wasn’t with her horses, she could be found at target practice or with those she loved. She would spend time with her friends and family. She would spend time with her nana and tata, get coffee with her sister, Aimee, and go fishing with her husband (where she always caught bigger fish than him). She adored holidays and camping with her family, and watching her brother team rope. She also loved spoiling her nieces and nephews. Rhiannon cooked meals and baked for her family as a way to show her love for them. And nobody can deny her love for her dogs Ruger and Magnum and especially her horse, Jericho.
Rhiannon will be remembered for kind heart, loving soul, and big smile. She loved everyone, and she loved deeply for them. Losing her has left a void in the universe that is impossible to fill. Her memory will live forever in our hearts.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 22 at Grace Fellowship Church.
