Joseph Perez Fernandez, age 69 of Goodyear, AZ passed away November 7, 2016. He was born March 19, 1947 to Vicente Lujan Fernandez and Maria Fernandez in Dededo, Guam. He served in the US Army from 1966 to 1985 reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant. He is survived by his spouse, Cecilia I Fernandez; daughters, Theresa Chapman, Stacey Cruz; sons, Joseph and Jason Fernandez; sister, Elenita Foley; six grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Vicente and Maria Fernandez.
A visitation will be held at 9:30 am with a rosary and scripture service at 10:30 am, Monday, November 14, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ.
