After graduating from High School, Abraham joined the Army and served his country until he was honorably discharged.
He enjoyed driving a cab in Chicago, Illinois for many years and never drove his cab without one of his favorite caps.
Abraham retired from driving his cab and moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2010, eventually moving into the Arizona State Veteran’s home in Downtown Phoenix. The staff at the VA home enjoyed Abraham’s many funny stories and his sense of humor even though he suffered from a debilitating form of arthritis throughout his body.
Abraham is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Laura Moore, his brother; Leon Moore, his sister; Bessie Moore-Fowler. He is survived by his eldest sister, Edna Moore, along with many friends from the Arizona Veteran’s Home in Downtown Phoenix and Chicago, Illinois.
A service will be held at Thompson Funeral Chapel on the 9th of December, 2020, at 1PM.
