Alfredo Macias Molina, age 66 of Tolleson, AZ died March 25, 2020 in Goodyear, AZ. He was born October 23, 1953 in Ajo, AZ to Jose and Carmen Molina. He grew up in Avondale, AZ and graduated from Agua Fria High School where he was a member of the ROTC. He attended Glendale Community College and Estrella Community College. Alfredo was a bus driver for Greyhound and traveled all over the United States and Canada. He was a volunteer fire fighter for the Avondale Fire Department. He later worked at Avondale Elementary School as a bus driver and maintenance worker. He was present at the school when it caught on fire and his training allowed him to quickly put the fire out. He also worked as a bus driver for Agua Fria High School and Buckeye High School.
Alfredo always spoke his mind. He liked to hang out, drink beer, and discuss things with his friends and family. His opinions were never wrong. He was a huge fan of the original Raul and Theresa’s. He loved to fish and enjoyed being in Cottonwood, AZ. He was a dutiful AZ Cardinal fan and a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. He loved his children and was especially proud of his grandchildren.
Alfredo is survived by his daughter May Molina-Nunez (Shaun); sons, Alfredo Molina (Erica) Humberto Molina (Raeanne), Eric Molina (Jessica), and Sean Molina (Stacey); sisters Judy Brown Tipton, and Linda McDaniel; brothers, Jose Molina, Sr. (Linda), Ruben Molina, Sr., and Cleo Brown; 11 grandchildren, Shaun II, Danny, Savannah, Cameron, Matthew, Mi Estrella, Citlali, Alayna, Santana, Julianna, and Eric, Jr. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Molina; mother, Carmen Encinas; brother, Gilberto Molina; sisters, Margie Arredondo and Jessie Gonzales and his beloved dogs, Pepe and Lizard.
