John Buell

Mr. John A. Buell, 75, Avondale, AZ, died June 24, 2014 in Peoria, AZ.  He was born August 28, 1938 to Ralph and Vada Buell in Springfield, OH.  He graduated from Arizona State University /with a Bachelor Of Arts in Education, Arizona Educator for 23 years and a member of DAV, ELKS, NRA.  He served in the United States Air Force from 1957 to 1968 as a Staff Sergeant/Radar Operator.  He is survived by his wife Jeannine Buell; son Mark S. (Lorraine M.) Buell, David A. (Michele A.) Buell; brother Robin Buell; and 6 grandchildren, Andrew, Trevor, Matthew, Alexander, Kristina and Kyle.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 10am to 11am, Funeral service at 11am, on Saturday, July 5th at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd, Goodyear, AZ 85338.  Burial will be at the National Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix, AZ.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association and/or Alhambra School District #68 Barcelona Middle School.  Condolences can be sent to www.thompsonfuneralchapel.com.
