Gregory Knoll

He was born in Appleton, Wisconsin and upon graduation from Southwest High School joined the U.S. Navy where he served aboard the USS Harry W. Hill.  His tour of duty also included service during Operation Desert Storm, and he received numerous commendations, medals and awards.

 Upon discharge in 1996, he was employed by the U.S. Postal Service in San Diego, Calif., before transferring to Buckeye, Ariz.

 Greg is survived by his parents, Denise Wolf and special friend, Frank Sommers, Goodyear, Ariz. as well as Wayne and Nadine Knoll, DePere, Wisc. He is further survived by his siblings and theirspouses, cousins, nieces (especially Tiffany Kornaus) and nephews.  Also missing him will be his faithful companion, Chance.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Joseph Wolf.

Interment will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona with full military honors, Friday November 5, 2010 at 1:30pm, 23029  North Cave Creek Road  Phoenix, Arizona.
