Rachel Galindo Tellez, age 82 of Avondale, AZ passed away December 28, 2016. She was born November 28, 1934 in Corsicana, TX to Alfredo Galindo and Carmen Munoz. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca De La Rosa; sons, Filiberto and Clemente Tellez, Jr.; sisters, Ortensia Garza, Eleanor Salas; brothers, John, William and Mike Galindo; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clemente Tellez; parents, Alfredo and Carmen Galindo; brother, Alfredo Galindo, Jr., and great-grandson Jessie Sanchez.
A visitation will be held at 9:00 am followed by a funeral service at 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ. Interment will be at Sunwest Cemetery, 12525 Grand Ave, El Mirage, AZ 85335.
