Eloisa P. Garza, 62, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2011. She was born on November 1, 1948 to Fermin Loza Gutierrez and Alejandra Carrillo Pereyda. She was raised in Brownsville, Texas, and moved to Phoenix at an early age where she resided until her passing.
She is survived by her husband Clemente T. Garza, her mother, Alejandra Gutierrez, daughters Michelle B. Garza and Monica L. Garza, and grandson Joshua I. Garza, all of Phoenix. Her siblings include Ignacio Guiterrez, Rudolfo Gutierrez, Rubin Gutierrez, Emma Rubio (Ruben), Efrin Gutierrez, Mary E. Adrian (Joseph), Sylvester Gutierrez and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. A woman who exhibited strength, courage, compassion, kindness, and love. Eloisa always put the need of others before her own. She was our "rock" and hero. She will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation service will be Wednesday July 20, in Thompson's Funeral Chapel, from 6 p.m till 8 p.m. Interment Saturday July 23, at Calvary Cemetery, San Angelo, Texas.
