Ms. Destiny..we talked a few times..you were like a breath of fresh air and sunshine in an otherwise negative and angry 10 hours..you will be missed. My thoughts and prayers that you and fam n friends will be wrapped in the arms and love  of our Lord and Savior and help your fam n friends  get thru this. You are forever in my thoughts..may you rest in heaven and may those around you now forever baste in your sunshine..missing your smiling face..

My sincere condolences to you and your family. My heart hurts for you and I feel your pain. I lost my young 16 year old son in a homicide, also a drive-by shooting and it is never  easy to hear when a young life is taken by gun violence. My husband and I are friends with Cory and please just know that we are sending positive thoughts, prayers, and asking for the Lord's help to give you all strength to grieve, and mourn and to find your own ways to cope and deal with this tragic loss. By reading all the wonderful words that people have to say about Destiny tells me a lot about her wonderful spirit and what a kind person she was, and always take comfort in those messages. Honor and keep her memory alive by telling stories about her! May she rest in paradise.

A beautiful Angel has gained her wings, I’m so thankful that I had the honor to meet such a beautiful person inside and out. A real jokester, kept anyone around you laughing, & had an amazing spirit about you. You really hit home with this one. I’m still in disbelief:( The world will be missing out on you. Destiny will forever be a beautiful soul ! She was her own personal motivator and inspired many people who came into her life. Anyone who can call Destiny a family member or friend was definitely blessed  . She’s the person many went to vent to and call on for support she was always giving to those if she could. She was the definition of fun because she didn’t need anything to be happy. She was many marvelous things and the world should know these things ! I love you thank you for the times you’ve cheered me up and the lessons you’ve taught me. You was really the spark of life, and the light in a dark room girl, and what’s even more beautiful is you were confident in everything you did ! you will forever be missed ! Thank you for blessing everyone’s life with positive goofy energy girl fly high, watch over the one you love. Rest In Peace.

I still can't believe it! Few weeks ago Destiny came to work and we had a private conversation!  She told me her badge keep disappearing,  I told her don't worry about it I will make you a special one right now and I made her a badge and added her favorite color on it!  
She always use to help out everyone when it comes to learning to even water spider which means making the environment safe for everyone that's working there! she use to laugh at everything no matter if it's bad or good and she use to make everyone laugh with her just by hearing her laugh!  
we will all miss her beautiful face,  smile,  spirit but we'll always remember her!!  we all love you!

To my cousin Brenda May God comfort you during this time of sadness  I send my love to my family from miles away wishing I could be with y’all you will for ever remain in my heart my prayer are with you and my family heaven has gained and angel.

Destiny was the kindest person to me, she took time to help me figure out the AZ app at work, and so many other issues I was having at my age 65 yrs old, she had friends of all ages I really appreciated her generosity, so loving, wishing I had more time with her. REST IN PARADISE!

As we approached one another, on our way to separate missions, you said "hello!" and I said "hey!" All night, I promised myself that I would have a longer conversation with you later. That's what OGs do, right? Yeah, later. After all, we've got time. We see each other at work all the time. 

At 23, there is no way I could have imagined that would be the last time I would hear you speak. Goes to show you that "old folks" can be just as clueless as anyone else. 

I wanted to yell out "slow down, you're working too hard!", which is funny, because I've spent my entire life ignoring people who told me the same thing. You had somewhere to be and who was I to get in your way? 

You told me your dreams and I had no doubt that you would achieve them all but your time, our time- was short. All the unwanted advice I had yet to give you, all the complaints you hadn't yet heard. Despite all of this, you taught me once again, that life is indeed too short and that the good die young.

I shall miss you, Destiny.
