Delfina Valdez, 74, of Avondale died June 4, 2011, in Sun City.
Mrs. Valdez was born December 24, 1936, in Gonzales, Texas. She moved to Arizona in 1970, and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Jose Guadalupe; three daughters: Maria, Sylvia Gonzalez, and Susanna; four sons: Jose Jr., Jesse, Arturo, and Ruben; one sister, Janie Martinez of Texas; two brothers Julian Hernandez of Tucson and Alfredo Hernandez of Texas; 22 grandchildren; and 37 great-grand children.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm June 7, 2011 at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd, Goodyear. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday June 8, 2011 at Thompson's. Pastor Fernando Castro will officiate.
