Daniel Ortiz, 27, of Avondale, died in Goodyear June 11, 2011. He was born February 17, 1984 in Phoenix, AZ. He was working as a stocker at the .99 cent store.
He is survived by daughters, Marrisa Ortiz and Alyssa Ortiz; sons, Daniel Ortiz Jr. and David Ortiz; parents, George Ortiz Sr. and Cecilia Serrano; sisters, Andrea Ortiz and Jeanette Arredondo, brothers, George Ortiz Jr., Miguel Arredondo, Jeremiah Arredondo. Also surviving are grandparents Pauline Gamez and Manuela Ortiz.
Visitation will be Saturday morning, June 18, 2011 10 am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 539 E. La Pasada Blvd., Goodyear, AZ. The rosary will be recited at 10:30 am. Mass will be at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being set up.
