Brandon Andre Champagne, 21, of Goodyear, Arizona, died on Dec. 17, 2019, in his home, suddenly in his sleep, in Avondale/Goodyear. Although only 21 at the time of his death, Brandon impacted many people in his lifetime with his kind soul. He always took people under his wing to ensure they were okay. He wore his heart on his sleeve and looked out for others.
He was never deep into education but always put his best foot forward. During his high school days, he was known for his laughs and smiles at the Goodyear Skate Park. For several years, his transportation and passion were in skateboarding, but, we can’t forget his night owl competition in video games. When high school came to an end, he graduated from Agua Fria High School.
When it came time for planning his future, he began following his father’s footsteps in a love of cars. His father got him hooked up with an amazing shop and opportunity, where he became an apprentice at Theim Automotive. Not only was he an apprentice, but he also became part of the family at Theim Automotive. Dori and Brad took Brandon under their wing as their own son. They even took him on a week-long cruise. He was loved dearly, by them.
Brandon was committed to friendship. He was very loyal to his close friends, Nick and Seth, who became brothers very quickly; along with his close girlfriend, Hailey.
Brandon was known for his very quiet, but goofy personality. He kept to himself but always took the time to listen to his friends and family. His sensitive nature caused him to worry about everyone. He made sure that others' needs were taken care of before his own. He loved his family deeply and would never say goodbye without saying, “I love you.”
Brandon was born in Yorba Linda, California and grew up in Avondale, Arizona. He is one of two beloved children to Pamela and Andre’ Champagne, Jr. Besides his parents, Brandon leaves behind his sister, Brittani Duval-Champagne; and many other loving family members and friends, brother in law, Marc Duval; niece, Annabelle Duval; grandmother, Carol Pederson; aunts, Valerie Roderick, Faith Dighero, Debbie Cook; cousins, Jenna Roderick, Danielle Carter, Brianna Wood; and friends, Brad and Dori Theim, Seth Kieren and Theresa Elwood, Nick Mroczek, and Hailey Nance. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Andre Champagne, Sr.; grandparents, Herman and Nancy Wyrick; grandparents, Jackie and John Jacoby; and grandfather, Don Pederson.
A memorial service will be held from 9:00 – 12:00 pm, Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Palm Valley Church, 431 N. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ 85338. Condolences for the family may be left below.
