Addisyn Bella Trujillo, 10, of Avondale, Arizona passed away on August 8, 2021 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born May 18, 2011 in Scottsdale, Arizona to Jacob John Trujillo and Sylvia Christina Trujillo.
Addy had two dogs, Abby and Billy, that she loved dearly. She loved fruit bats and arts and crafts, especially water colors. Addy loved her family so much and loved celebrating holidays with them. Christmas and Halloween were her favorites.
Addy was the sweetest little girl, considerate, loving, selfless, compassionate, and very strong in her faith. She was a fighter, and fought a long battle with Cystic Fibrosis; during which she showed her bravery, resilience and perseverance. She was loved by so many. Everyone who came into contact with her loved her dearly.
She is survived by her mom and dad, Sylvia and Jacob Trujillo, dogs, Abby and Billy, God Parents, Mark and Gina Torres, great-grandmother, Olivia Lopez, grandparents, Lucia Lucrecia Trujillo, Rachel Meraz, and Danny Meraz, aunt, Lupe Meraz, great-aunts, Sylvia Bustos, and Josie Lopez, uncles, Bob Bustos and Marty Trujillo, and, Zoey Celaya, Ariyale Torres, Dannie Meraz, and Maritza Meraz. Addisyn was loved by many extended family members including aunts, uncles, cousins, family friends, teachers, nurses, doctors, RTs, and all who cared for her.
A rosary will be held at Thompson Funeral Chapel on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 6pm. A service will be held for Addisyn at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 10:30am. She will be buried at West Resthaven Park Cemetery that day at 11:45am.
