Tony R. Pennington, 75, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016. He was born Friday, June 4, 1941 in Putnam County, Tennessee and is preceded in death by his wife Melba “Jody” Pennington; parents, Effie Abbott and Nard Larry Pennington; sisters, Pluma Pennington, Marie Reding, Earline Johnson, Gladys Deluna, Edna Lovoya.
Tony is survived by his daughters, Fran Wheeler, Lynn (Brent) Raynes, Rhonda (Mark) Kois; grandchildren, Tennelle (Jason) Raynes-White, Brandon (Kelly) Wheeler, Chris (Brittney) Raynes, Latana Wheeler, Cecily Pennington and ten great-grandchildren, Peyton, Colton, Trenton, Joeli, Blaise, William, Jamie, Olivia, Brody, Harlee; sister, Linda Randall) Hemby.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted 12:00 Thursday, October 13, 2016 in the chapel of Forest Lawn with Jason White officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will gather to remember Tony at a visitation Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 2:00 – 8:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 S. Dickerson Rd. Goodlettsville, TN 37072
