Sophia Elizabeth "Libby" Dillard

Sophia Elizabeth Dillard - age 86 passed away Thursday March 29, 2012. Born Saturday June 20, 1925 in Nashville, TN she is preceded in death by her husband Milton Hart Dillard; son Mitchell Bruce Dillard of Mt Juliet, TN; parents William Henry Christian and Anna L. Paradise Pruter; brothers Enrico Pruter, Columbia, TN; Frederick Pruter of Nashville, TN.

Mrs. Dillard retired from the Metro Tax Assessors’ office after more than 30 years and is survived by her daughter Linda Gayle (Rexford) Davis of Fayetteville, NC; sisters Anne L. Pruter of Murfreesboro, TN; Delores (Robert) Davenport of LaVergne, TN; brother Lawrence (Dorothy) Pruter of Antioch, TN; daughter-in-law Rebecca Dillard of Mt. Juliet, TN; six grandchildren Angela Renee Dillard (Jason) Orsbon of Mt. Juliet, TN; Amy Michelle Dillard (Brian) Guthrie of Murfreesboro, TN; Gregory Bruce (Natalie) Dillard of Old Hickory, TN; Adam Hart (Sunita) Davis of Philadelphia, PA; Stephanie Gayle Davis (Christopher) Travis of Clarksville, TN; Todd Andrew Davis of Clarksville, TN and eight great-grandchildren Jackson Alexander Orsbon, Reece Michael Orsbon, Harper Elizabeth Guthrie, Hadley Jane Guthrie, Gabriel Bryson Dillard, Myers Easton Dillard, Jacob Mason Travis, Mallory Paige Travis.

Funeral services will be 10:00 Monday April 2, 2012 ain the chapel at Forest Lawn with Bro. Ken Green officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Juvenile Diabetes.

Family and friends will gather for a visitation Sunday April 1, 2012 from 2:00 until 4:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 Dickerson Road Goodlettsville, TN 37072
