Robert Lee Ragan

Robert Lee Ragan, age 82, of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Robert was born Sunday, December 22, 1940 in Nashville, Tennessee. Preceding in death are his parents, Gay Lamuel and Vanilla Mai Allen Ragan; brother, Billy Ragan.

An avid sportsman, Robert enjoyed them all, coaching little league baseball, fishing, running, waterskiing, golfing, basketball, baseball, Winston Cup NASCAR and the Vandy Commodores. He was a 1959 graduate of Goodlettsville High School; he retired as technician for Bell South. Survivors are his sister, Mary Deaderick and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A visitation for Robert will be held Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

A celebration of life will occur Monday, March 27, 2023 at 12:00 PM, Goodlettsville, Tennessee with Pastor Jason Snider officiating.

Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Christopher Newbern, Michael Clark, Jeff Guy, Thomas Newbern, Martin Clark and Dan Whittle.
