Pearlie Baise Scott, 87, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born on March 5, 1929 to Nelle and Walter Baise in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Moving to Nashville as a young child, Pearlie graduated from East Nashville High School in 1947.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Clarke and Charlene Johnson, and infant grandson Austin Scott. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, James Donald Scott, Sr., daughter Lynda D. Scott, son James D. Scott, Jr., granddaughters Jamie L. Scott, Ashley Scott and Shelby Scott, her adored dog and companion Molly, nieces and nephews.
In the early 1960's, Pearlie and her husband worked together and built their family business, Scott Sales Company, Inc. She remained active in the company into her 80's. First and foremost was her devotion and love for her family.
As per her wishes, a private service and interment was held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016.
