Mary Louise was born October 3, 1921 to the late Tom and Eula Harris. Also preceded in death by her husband of almost 63 years, Lilbert Sloan; son, Steve Sloan; brothers, Edward, Clyde and Donald Harris; sisters, Hattie Ruth Capps and Betty Rakilios.

She is survived by daughters, Joyce (Boe) Hitchcock, Gayle (Mike) Raetzel and Kathy “Kat” (Michael) Jones; daughter-in-law, Diane Sloan; grandchildren, Cheryl Hahn (Robert) Brown, Kirk (Crystal) Pyle, Heather (Brent) Sloan, Chad (Diane) Jones, Kelly Holt (Scott) Fulsom, Scott (Dancy) Sloan, Crystal Jones (Scott) Fitzpatrick and Cory (Jennifer) Jones; 13 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-great-grandchild; 7 step-grandchildren; 29 step-great-grandchildren; 11 step-great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Raymond (Eileen) Harris and Thurman Harris; sister, Nancy Smiley; sisters-in-law, Clara Mai Harris and Dot Harris; many nieces and nephews.

Mary Louise was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved country music and enjoyed 5 years of going to Nashville Now. She became friends with many of the stars.

A Celebration of her life will be held 12:30 pm Monday, December 2, 2013 at Forest Lawn Chapel with Sellers Crain and Dr. Mike Mayo officiating.

Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with grandsons, Kirk and Keith Pyle, Scott Sloan, Chad and Cory Jones and Cody Brown serving as pallbearers.

Visitation with the family will be today 11 am – 8 pm and Monday 10:30 am until the service at 12:30.
