Lonnie was born in Smithville, Tennessee Tuesday, November 5th , 1935 and preceded by death his parents James Thomas Hendrix(aka Suki) and Ophilia Colbert Hendrix and his wife Zelma Louise Weston Hendrix, sons William Aaron Hooper and Gary Lee Hooper; granddaughter Sheila Gail Griffin.
He is survived by his daughthers, Faye Kephart, Delores Cole (Carl) Tobie Hooper Warrick (Bobby) Darlene Lyle, Debbie May (Ronald) and Son, Johnny Hooper, sister Claudine. 18 grandchildren 34 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and special friend Gladys Jenkins.
Family and friends will gather to remember Lonnie at the visitation Friday, February 24, 2017 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 4:00 until 8:00 and Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 9:00 until 2:00.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted 2:00 Saturday, 2017 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
