Thoughts and Prayers to Lisa's family.  I have great memories of Lisa from high school. She will be thought of!

To all Lisa's family:  My heart goes out to you!  I can't imagine Lisa being gone.  She was like a bright light, the sunrise, a star in the night, joy in human form.  She was fun and laughter.  She was kind, oh so very kind.  Anyone who grew up with her here in Evansville had a rare privilege!  She was a precious jewel!  Those who love God live forever in heaven, as their memory lives on earth in the hearts of those who love them.  Years ago, Lisa shared with me her love for God.  I know the angels rejoiced as she came on Home.  For us, we will miss her beyond words and there will be many times of tears.  I encourage you to put a whole bunch of photos of Lisa all over your house!  May seem silly, but it will help you tremendously!  Funny pictures, group pictures, not just "professional" ones.  Photos remind us of happy times and refresh memories.  They will encourage you and make you smile!  It works!  I about went under when my Mother died, we were so very close; a friend suggested this to me and after all these years (5) I still switch out photos.  They make me happy!  Kind of like a hug from Mom.  I hope you'll try it.  The grandchildren love the pictures too and love to hear stories about Mom.  The more you talk about her, the more healing takes place in your heart.  I'm not going to tell you that it gets easier with time.  I am going to tell you that that keeping her memory alive this way will be a blessing to you and to all who love her!  God bless you all.  I am praying for you. I put this pic of me when I was little because this is what Lisa remembered me as before I found her and my family again. 
My heart hurts at the loss of this beautiful sister, who if we had grown up together, would have been very close. My great comfort is knowing that I will see her again one day when she greets me with that great big smile and welcomes me into heaven. 
The last time I seen her we hugged one another and I got to tell her I loved her and she told me she loved me.

im in a great depression over the death of my aunt lisa. she was always good to me. pray for me and my family in this time of need. i remember that she always was a kind and caring person. im in a state of shock that she is gone.some of my best memories of her was the house on richardt when she was in college and also when she was married to my uncle ron miller. god bless you my aunt lisa. i will miss you forever. love donnie

The Majors girls--Lisa, Sherry,and Becky were my students at Henry Reis and Evans Elementary Schools.  They were such a joy to me and such precious girls.  Lisa--and her sisters--behaved so well in my classes.  Lisa was a beautiful person always having a smile on her face.  My thoughts and many prayers go out to Becky and Sherry and the rest of the family.  I love you Lisa; may you rest in peace in God's hands.

This scripture comforts me today as I remember Lisa; I hope others may also be comforted by these words -- "Jesus said to them, 'I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. Everything that the Father gives me will come to me, and anyone who comes to me I will never drive away; for I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. This is indeed the will of my Father, that all who see the Son and believe in him may have eternal life; and I will raise them up on the last day.'" John 6:35-40

We lived across the street from Lisa and her family in Evansville Indiana growing up as kids.  I remember going to her house alot and  always hanging out with her sisters and her Mom having lots of fun. I always thought her brother Mike was good looking. She was always fun to be around with and I will miss her greatly. Nancy Gunther(Susie Troglio)

I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember all the times I spent with Lisa, Becky, and their family on Richardt...ALWAYS made me feel so welcome...just like I was part of the family. Lots of good times and memories. Love you and may you rest in peace. Tammy

The following are my thoughts and memories about my Aunt, Lisa Miller:

When I think about Lisa, the first memories that come to mind are of growing up in Evansville, and of the house near the public library.  Lisa and Mom used to help each other out a lot when I was little, so I often spent time with the Miller family.  That was around the time Lauren was born, and Lisa, Josh, and I used to try to see who could make her laugh the most.  Sometimes in the evening, when we relaxed in front of the television, she would scratch Josh's and my back, to comfort us.  When I was in the 8th grade, I flew for the first time when I visited the Miller family in Tennessee.  Lisa proudly showed me around the Nashville area during the time I was there.  Months later, my mother would also decide to move to Tennessee, with Lisa being the trailblazer that brought us there.  She often took me under her wing while I was there, even helping me to get work as a young man.  Now I am in my mid-thirties, life passing by as quickly as it does.  Looking back, I want people to know that Aunt Lisa had a positive impact in my life, and she contributed a lot to my growing up, and somehow getting by.  She did a great deal for me and I thank her greatly for her contributions and care.

I would also like to say something about Aunt Lisa as a person. She always had a charming demeanor about her and a friendly smile.  I know she had a lot of admirers.  She will be missed.  Wherever she went, people liked her instantly.  That was one of the good qualities about her.  I know she will be especially missed by her children, sisters, brother, nieces and nephews and those in her family.  However, there are many whose lives she touched, and who have many positive and good memories of her.  I hope, wherever her spirit remains-in good keeping-that she understands this.  It is my sincere belief that she will for always be remembered by myself, and others whose lives she impacted.

Josh and Lauren, getting to see the two of you tonight flooded our minds with countless memories. We are each grateful for the special friendship our family shares with yours. It's so evident that you both deeply love and care about each other...your close relationship is priceless and rare. You were clearly the greatest joy in Lisa's life. We are truly blessed to have known her. Please know that we love and care for you both!

Lisa  was a wonderful, loving and kind person and I am feeling the sadness of her death. 
She was like a second mom to me. 
I will miss her dearly.

Lisa was incredible. A light. A support. After a very short period of time that I knew her it was so very obvious. She loved her family so very much. I am continually praying for you all. For comfort from our God. For peace in the sadness.

My thoughts and prayers are with Becky and her family. May God comfort you in this sadden time.

My love and sympathy go out to Lisa's children, Lauren and Josh and her family. I dearly loved Lisa and I have such fond memories of our childhood and High School years. The next days and months will be hard but I hope you find comfort in your Memories of your Mom and in knowing that she loved you both so much. I wish I could be there with you today but unfortunately I can not so remember you are in my thoughts and prayers!
