She struggled through many medical procedures and surgeries early on in her childhood, but always had a smile and remained positive no matter how bad she felt.
Kim settled into life as a paraplegic, and never let it slow her down. She went to school like every person her age, and in grammar school she competed in field day and even came in second place in a leap frog contest by making her wheelchair jump as she rolled it. She had a passion for music , and her first job, like most teenagers in Nashville, was at Opryland where she worked with the Cumberland Boys Gospel Show. After working at Opryland she still loved to visit there to watch the musical shows, and always made sure to visit fanfare each year. For the last 15 years of her life she worked for CSC( a company that staffs Titans games , Predator games, and concerts). She loved this job, and always had someone who’s life she touched whether it was an employee or patron.
Kim was preceded in death by her Father Henry Coleman and her grandparents She is survived by her mother and stepfather Pamela & Jerry Mayes; brother, Kevin (Tracy) Coleman; nephew, Tim; stepbrother, Jefry Mayes; niece, Anne-Claire.
