

Julianne Stanton, aged 82, passed away on April 16th, in Nashville, Tennessee. Julianne was born on August 14, 1939 in Midland Texas., She married Philip Alan Stanton in June of 1959 and had two sons, Jeffrey Alan in 1960 and Douglas Charles in 1964.
Julianne was a Registered Nurse, graduating from Rush Presbyterian Hospital and earned her B.A. from Benedictine University. She loved caring for people regardless of their condition. Julianne dedicated herself to volunteering for various causes and foundations in Williamsburg, Virginia. Colonial Williamsburg was one of her favorite places in the entire world. Some of the happiest moments of her life were spent there and traveling the World with her Husband Phil. Julie used her personal experience of the passing of Jeff in in 1996 and Phil in 1999 to help families with the struggles she knew of firsthand. Hospice was very important to Julie, and she spent much of her later life helping others through the pain of losing a loved one. She moved to Nashville, in 2021 but never fully experienced it due to her declining health.
Julie is survived by her Son Douglas, Daughter-In Law Angie Stanton and Granddaughter Erin Stanton. She is also survived by her Brother John Charles Hill.
She had a deep love of travel and Quilting. She left behind a Treasure Trove of beautiful quilts that will be passed for generations. Her remains will be scattered at her favorite locations.
