Our condolences to the family. I first met Ed when I was a young man working on boat motors after he got out of the Navy. I now work for Mercury Marine, Ed and I had a lot of common ground and I miss his conversations about water life which he enjoyed very much. He was a great friend.

I have known Eddie for over 30 years and he was a true friend.  Over the years, my wife, Sherry, and I have spent a lot of quality time with Eddie and Linda.  We’ve been on cruises together, dozens of New Years Eve parties at the American Legion, trips to Gulf Shores, Al and Anna Maria Island, Fl, and, of course, weekends on the lake.  

Eddie loved the lake.  He’d rather be on his boat than anywhere in the world.  He helped me buy my first houseboat and taught me how to drive and maintain it.   He always had a smile on his face when he was at the lake.  

He was mostly quiet and reserved, but when he spoke, people listened.  He will be truly missed.  

Goodbye old buddy.  We will miss you terribly.  Rest In Piece..

Ed was a great friend. I worked for him in the 80's and remained close friends. We camped and ran catfish Trot lines for over 30 years. We got to run 1 more trot year ago a memory I will always charish.

What can be said about a man that has been your closest friend for thirty years?  We shared so many common interests.  We spent many nights & weekends out on the lake with our wives.  Great food, great fun & made so many great memories.  Nothing beats time on the water with friends!  I can’t begin to relate all of the experiences that we shared.  Let’s just say if Eddie was on the lake I was not far behind and if I was on the lake he was not far behind.  
When we sold our boat a few years ago, our time together decreased but we still found time to share a football game and a cold beer.  
I’m trying to remember the first 26 years because the last 4 have been too painful.  I am going to miss my Navy buddy like nobody else.

Memories are the legacy of love.  I loved that you always had a smile to share.  I think about the cruise when we went on the jeep tour. You had a bad knee and I had a bad knee. That jeep was rough on both of us getting in and out.  

Lots of laughs over the years. Rest in Peace Eddie,
