John Terry Brown, age 89, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. Terry was born Saturday, December 7, 1935 in Dickson, Tennessee. Terry is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn S. Brown; parents, John F. Brown, Bessie Mae Bowen Tidwell; son, James Robert Brown; daughter-in-law, Suellen Brown; sister, Norma Jean Bowman.
Terry is survived by his sons, John W. (Dottie) Brown, Greg L. Brown; siblings, James Larry Brown and Retha Lynn Brown; granddaughter, Ashley Brown; great-grandchildren, Elena and Ivan Brown.
A visitation for Terry will be held Monday, March 10, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, 515 Long Hollow Pike, Goodlettsville, TN 37072. A celebration of life will be at 1:00 PM with Elder Ronald Lawrence.
A burial will be Monday, March 10, 2025 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072.
