Joe "Scooter" Light

Preceded in death by father, Stanley Joe Light, grandparents Corrine & Joe Harvey Light, and Dorothy & Walter Wright, all of Cottontown, TN, Stanley Joe Light, Jr, Chapmansboro, TN.

Survived by mother Laura Light and companion Dan Cummings, Cottontown, brother Samuel (Aussie) & Haley Light, nephew Easton Light, White House, TN, and companion, Leilani Robinson, Leland, IL.

Joe was a star athlete in his youth and enjoyed riding dirt bikes on the family farm.

Joe attended private school until high school and graduated in 2006 from White House High School. He graduated from Western Kentucky University with a business degree in 2010. Shortly thereafter he landed a job as a Client Relations Manager for Western Kentucky Elder Law. He enjoyed playing golf and doing all things PR for the firm. He was also the liaison with the VA for clients of the firm.

Joe’s 60 lb English bulldog, Bentley, graced billboards around KY as the law firms Mascot.

In his spare time Joe loved fishing, playing golf, and traveling. He also enjoyed game nights at the barn, family and his dog Bentley.

Per Joe’s wishes he will be cremated.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2pm October 26, 2024 at Here-A-Goat There-A-Goat Farm 779 Shun Pike Cottontown, TN 37048. Light refreshments will be served.
