Joan King Short - age 84 passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013. Born Saturday, April 27, 1929 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late John and Lunell Hall King; and is preceded in death her husband, Richard S. Short.
Retired from IKG Industries, she is survived by children, Richard (Dana) Short, Becky (Dennis) Amick, Alice Marshall, Paulette (Ed) Sellars; grandchildren, Kevin Short, Lisa (Rob) Dubell, Renee Amick, Abby (Adam) Owen, Trey Marshall, Blake Sellars; great-grandchildren, Robert Dubell, Ashton Dubell, Emery Jane Owen; brother, William (Betty) King; sisters, Ruth (Oliver) Reynolds, Donna Alice King; close friend, Linda Green; many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 Thursday, October 3, 2013 in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
