Jerry was a loving and heartfelt man of Christ. He did the best he knew how, raising his children. His father passed when he was ten years of age. He didn't get the same experiences with father that he got to participate in with his children. Jerry loved every moment that he got to spend with his children.
He was the rock for so many people throughout the years. Jerry had a kind and generous heart and would help anyone in need, no matter the circumstance. Jerry will always be loved and never forgotten.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Wayne Stevens, Sr.; grandparents, Albert Thomas and Peggy Marie Davis, John Dewey and Eunice Brinkley Stevens; nephew, Gage Sloan; sister-in-law, Debbie Stevens.
Jerry is survived by his son, Jerry Wayne Stevens, III (Dawn Waller); daughter, Elizabeth Lynn Stevens; mother, Elizabeth Ann Davis; brothers, John Wayne Stevens (Lynn Cherry), Dewey Dewayne Sloan (Brandi Collins), Don Stevens, Jr.; grandson, Jerry Wayne Stevens, IV; newphes, John Stevens, Jr., Rickey Stevens, Thomas Sloan, Levi Stevens, Justin F., Elijah C., Chase C., and Scotti C.; nieces, Alayna Sloan-Jennette, Kylie Stevens, Juniper Sloan, Cheyenne Stevens, Cori D., Dacaytia C., and Hailey C.
