Reverend Harold Wayne McNatt

Of Lawrenceville, GA, formerly of Hendersonville, TN

Age 86, went to be with the Lord, June 10, 2014

Born, August 6, 1927 in Boones Hill, TN to the late Sutton and Lucy McElroy McNatt. He was also preceded in death by wife, Josephine C. Raney McNatt of Hendersonville, TN; brothers, James Austin McNatt of Shelbyville, TN and Rev. William Kenneth McNatt of Howell, TN.

He is survived by daughter, Wynett M. (Leonard) Heacock of Buford, GA; son, Archbishop Kenneth W. (Sandra) McNatt of Conyers, GA; four grandchildren, Bishop-designate, Adam W. (Belinda) McNatt, Pastor Aaron S. (Dae) McNatt, Arek T. McNatt, and Brett R. Heacock; ten great-grandchildren, Vanessa, Jewel, Allison, Morgan, Macy, Mallie, Arek Jr., Asher, Allistar, Aranessa.

Rev. McNatt served in the US Army, and then attended Southwestern Assemblies of God Bible College. He then went on to pastor Frost Assembly of God, Frost, TX; Dawson Assembly of God, Dawson, TX; Ripley Central Assembly of God, Ripley, TN; First Assembly of God, Earle, AR. He also traveled as an Evangelist for many years: worked as an agent for Bankers Life Insurance & Independent Life & Accident Insurance in Columbus, GA; Deputy Sheriff, Columbus, GA; Sales Representative for Family Bootery, Nashville, TN. He was an Ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God, World Bible Way Fellowship, and with Global Harvest International Fellowship. He was also a weapons instructor in US Army, and won multiple salesman of the year awards.

A Celebration of Life service will take place, at 12 noon, on Tuesday, June 17, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Visitation with family, and friends, will be on Monday, from 4-8 pm.
