Effie Mae Rainbolt

Effie Mae Rainbolt - age 93, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013. Born in Huntsville, Alabama Thursday November 27, 1919 to the late Wiley Sampson and Mary Elziabeth Claytor Sanders; she is also preceded in death by husband, Charles, daughter, Carolyn & grandson, Robby; her four brother and her beloved sister Charlotte (Chadi).

Ms. Rainbolt is survived by her daughters, Jo Lynn (Jim) Mulholland, Jennifer (Steve) Rainbolt; sons, Charlie (Vicki) Rainbolt, Roy Rainbolt; sister, Auddie Sanderson; grandchildren, Kris, Jessica, Christy, Robin, Chelly, David, Chase; 12 great-grandchildren & “K-Katey”.

Ms. Rainbolt served for nearly 30 years in the nursery of Hillhurst Baptist Church and is fondly remembered by many as “Granny Rainbolt”.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2013 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with burial following in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are, Ryan, Austin, Kevin, Dalton, David, Henri, Chase, Chad; honorary: nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Family and friends will gather to remember Ms. Rainbolt at a visitation Tuesday August 20, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday August 21, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 S. Dickerson Rd. Goodlettsville, TN 37072
