Douglas Allen Thompson

Douglas was born Friday, December 7, 1951 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to the late James H. Thompson and Sadie Rucker Thompson.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of twenty-nine years, Deborah Thompson and his brother, Ronnie Thompson.

Mr. Thompson served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, riding his Harley Davidson, gambling – and was known to strike it lucky occasionally. In recent years, he enjoyed showing his knife collection. He cherished his family and the life that he was blessed with.

He is survived by daughters, Lori Priest (Matthew) and Jaime Thompson; grandchildren, Caleb Priest and Damian Priest. He is also survived by the Case Family as well as numerous relatives and friends.

A private graveside service will be Wednesday, April 5, 2023 in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
