MACRAE, Sr., Douglas W. Age 80 of Hendersonville passed away April 29, 2013. Doug was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Ann M. Carlo MacRae; grandson, Shawn Pallottini; 7 siblings. Survived by daughters, Meridith (Sam) Pallottini, Stephanie Custer, Debbie Zerwer, Julie Greenfield and Charlotte Barie; sons, Kenneth Floyd and Douglas W. MacRae, Jr.; brothers, Stephen, David and Robert; 45 grandchildren. Mr. MacRae was a veteran of the U.S. Army, an avid reader, enjoyed computers and was a baseball player in his younger days. A celebration of his life will be held 2 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2013 at Forest Lawn Chapel. In lieu of flowers please make donations to your local hospice. A gathering of family and friends will be 1 hour prior to the service at FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME
