Dorothy Wenzel

She was a devout believer, often found reading her Bible and praying. Everyone who knew Dorothy knew her favorite movie was Little House on the Prairie. She was a humble, faithful woman to the end and will be missed dearly.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter Naomi; and her son John Mark; her sister Grace Horton, her brother Frank Swindell, her brother Fred Swindell, her brother Clyde Swindell and her brother Mark Swindell.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Gus Wenzel; her mother Zelma Swindell and her father Willie Swindell; her sister Anna Ruth McGill; her brother Carl Swindell; her brother Paul Swindell; her brother Phillip Swindell; her brother Roy Swindell and her brother James Swindell.

A visitation for Dorothy will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

Dorothy will be laid to rest in Garden of Everlasting Life, Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
