Donald Eugene "Gene" Edwards, 67, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2014. He was born Sunday, October 27, 1946 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Gene is survived by his wife of 39 years, Linda D. Edwards; children, Eric James Edwards and Sherry Lynn Edwards; grandchildren, Hope and Ethen Wooten; sister, Velma Lee Jennette.
A celebration of life will be held 2:00 Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in the chapel of Forest Lawn with Bro. Tyler officiating. Burial with miliatary honors by the US Army will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Eric Edwards, Michael Dale Wooten, Malik Martin, Matt Robinson, Jay Ward and Joe Ward.
