David was born in Nashville, TN on December 17, 1949 to the late J.F. & Geneva Evelyn Felts. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Martha Elaine Murdock.
David is survived by his 3 children: James Steven Felts (Maria), Jodi Michelle Phillips & Ginny Felts Fowler (Chris). He is also survived by his brother, James Wayman Felts, and many extended family members & friends.
“Super” spent nearly 40 years as a railroad engineer, following in his father’s footsteps. He was a graduate of Cumberland High School & lived most of his life around the Nashville area. He loved traveling, fishing, watching John Wayne movies & listening to music. He also enjoyed learning about history & collecting coins. Super had a stern exterior, but inside was a kind, caring, tender-hearted man. He will be greatly missed by all those that loved him.
The family will have a private graveside service Monday, October 31, 2022 in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens 1150 S Dickerson Pike, Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
