Charles Mark Lundy

Charles Mark Lundy age 92 passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013. Born Friday, December 31, 1920 in Goodlettsville, Tennessee Mr. Lundy is preceded in death by his parents George S. and Effie Richardson Lundy; sisters, Margaret Capps, Nannie Mae Green, Ruby Greer, Grace Coggin, Lois Harper, Vera Carpenter; brothers, Bill, Glaspie, and Paul Lundy.

A WWII Navy veteran and a DuPont retiree, he is survived by his wife of 75 years, Elizabeth Gober Lundy; daughter, Marsha O’Neal; grandchildren, Michael (Carrie) O’Neal, Mary O’Neal (Brian) Manning; 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Goodlettsville with Dr. Michael O’Neal and Brian Manning officiating. Burial with Navy honors will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Billy Harper, Ralph Coggin, Harold Coggin, Paul Carpenter, Ronnie Carpenter, Morris Ray Greer. Honorary pallbearers will be the Keenagers and deacons of First Baptist Church of Goodlettsville.

Family and friends will gather at a visitation to remember Mr. Lundy Monday, February 18, 2013 from 4:00 until 7:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Rd. Goodlettsville, TN 37072
