Carolyn W. Utley

Carolyn W. Utley, age 77, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019. Born in Nashville, Tennessee Friday, April 18, 1941 she is preceded in death by her parents, G. W. and Mary Alley West; brother, Wayne Alley West and step-daughter, Lisa Anne Utley.

A retired manager in Human Resources, Mrs. Utley enjoyed playing Bridge; shopping, movies, travel and Community Theatre.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ronald G. Utley; daughters, Traci Deck and her husband Boogie and Kelly Anderson; sister Linda Spratt and her husband Jimmy; brother, Randy West and his wife Rhonda; grandsons, Jordan W, Breedlove and his wife Leanna and William Taylor Anderson; great-grandchildren, Collin, Tucker and Chandler Breedlove.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted 12:00 Monday, January 14, 2019 at First Baptist Church-Hendersonville, with Brother Bruce Chesser officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, Tennessee 38105.

Serving as active pallbearers will be: Elliot West, Ty Tipton, Taylor Anderson, Jordan Breedlove, Boogie Deck, Billy Anderson, Brook Turner and Chris Turner; Honorary will be: Collin Breedlove, Tucker Breedlove, Sherry Spain, Helen Cates, Betty West, Joy Dixon, Sandi Inman, Scarlett Brown and the Thursday Bridge Club.

Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Utley at a visitation Monday, January 14, 2019 from 9:00 until the service at 12:00 at First Baptist Church-Hendersonville 106 Bluegrass Commons Blvd. Hendersonville, Tennessee.
