Brian I still can't believe you're gone up there in a big house. Tell your dad and Grandpa Louie I said hi. Bro I met you when I was 16  .first person I met in school ,we are Michigan Brothers. Best friends from the start. Man I could tell some stories. You had the baddest Ford Granada Tennessee has ever seenl lmao... the cleanest Buick Regal and the prettiest Camaro that you work so hard for I remember the look on your face when you bought that thing priceless. your family was a lot like you  they all accepted that little redheaded stepchild  another Michigan boy in the sweet ass state of Tennessee.i miss you bro rest my friend  

Brian was the best father-in-law anyone could have asked for. From day 1, he treated me like one of his own and really helped me feel included in the family. I still think back to the day I met him; he and I talked for a long time about his light-up picture box invention and how it was going to make him rich one day.

Before Katelyn and I wed, I called him to seek permission to marry her. He said a lot of things but it basically boiled down to “take care of her and don’t cheat.” I always appreciated his realism and the fact that he was always willing to give advice.

Katelyn and I spent a lot of time with him in the hospital last year as well; during that time he taught me how to play Rummy 500, and now it’s one of my favorite card games. I asked him so many questions about how the game worked and he happily answered every single one.

The world lost a great husband, father, and friend, but I know it’s not for good; I know one day I will see him again and he does too. I love you so much, Brian. Hope heaven is treating you well.

I’ll forever be missing you, Dad. Thank you for being the best dad a girl could ask for. Life is going to be so difficult without you, I’m still trying to figure out how to move on. It’s so crazy that you’ll never answer the phone again or make fun of my grilled cheeses. I know you’ll continue to watch over me, my brothers, and everyone else. We feel and see you everywhere. I know you’re in a far much better place. I love you, Dad. 💜
