Brenda Jean Hood

Brenda Jean "Peanut" Hood, age 63, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020. Brenda, affectionately called Peanut, was born Wednesday, August 28, 1957 in Nashville, Tennessee and is preceded in death by her mother, Mamie Jenkins Romines; her father, Woodrow Romines; brother, Jr. Romines and sister-in-law, Sue Romines; sister, Margaret Wiggins and brother-in-law, James Wiggins.

Family oriented and loved by many, she was a caretaker at Kuddles for Kids; Brenda is survived by her husband of 48 years; Roger Hood; children, Felicia Staggs and her husband, Charles, Kevin Hood, Thomas West, David Halpin and his wife Nikki; sister, Patsy Watson, Betty Stark and her husband Freeman; brother Donnie Romines and his wife Shenna; grandchildren, Trey Staggs, Nikki Staggs, Austin Staggs, Jacob Hood, Jabeson Hood, Justin Hood, Paislea West, Hunter Halpin, Hannah Halpin; great-granddaughter, Layla Staggs and all the kids Ms. Peanut has raised through the years at Kuddles for Kids.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 2:00 in Forest Lawn's Mansker Hall with Bro. Tim Sharpe officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be, Trey, Austin, Jacob, Danny, Firecracker, Barry Bill, Jeremy, Derrick.

Family and friends will gather to remember Peanut at a visitation Friday, November 13, 2020 from 1:00 until 8:00 and Saturday November 14, 2020 from 10:00 until the 2:00 service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Pike Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
